My name is Ashwin Sarimin, and I’m a Lead Engineer/Architect specializing in Platform Engineering, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Based in the Netherlands, I help organizations build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native platforms that empower development teams to deliver software faster and more efficiently.
With several years of experience in cloud engineering and platform architecture, I focus on creating robust infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and modern DevOps practices. My expertise spans across Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes ecosystem, security implementation, and observability tools.
What I Do #
As a Platform Engineer, I bridge the gap between infrastructure and development teams by:
- Designing and implementing enterprise-scale Kubernetes platforms on Azure
- Building GitOps workflows with Flux, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions
- Implementing security-first approaches with shift-left practices and zero-trust architectures
- Creating developer-friendly platforms that abstract complexity while maintaining flexibility
- Establishing observability and monitoring solutions for cloud-native applications
